Description
This route differs from Malsou one in three areas:
1. it takes a riverside route out of Maldon and continues on the coastal path as far as the causeway to Northey Island, it then turns inland and rejoins the path of Malsou One - this gives a better route through historic Maldon and avoids walking around the recycling centre and some suburban streets;
2. it takes a different route out of Maylandsea using footpaths and avoiding a stretch of road walking including a dangerous area with poor visibility and without a verge, before rejoining the path of Malsou One again
3. It leaves Old Heath Road earlier, replacing road walking with more off-road footpaths on the approach to Southminster
