Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

05 Apr 2023Stearsb, in reviewing LytKir One in June 2021, mentions that the footpaths alongside Eastham Hall Holiday Park are compacted earth that look like they are prone to getting muddy. I’m afraid when I walked this in April 2023 (after a wet March) the footpath was deeply, dangerously flooded. I had to divert through the caravan park to get through to the road. A friendly groundsman from the park told me that the park was not a public right of way, and that the actual footpath was frequently very deeply flooded. It actually looked like a river or a pond. I checked it from both sides. So until this path has some serious work done on it, I cannot recommend this route.
