25 Aug 2023Attempted to survey this route in April without success. I'm not familiar with this area or the route, so perhaps someone with local knowledge would be able to give better guidance.
The first 2km were fine, but I experienced difficulties when I reached the area adjacent to Box Road. The farm road turns towards the estuary, away from the GPS route provided. I crossed a muddy inlet, but couldn't find a clear route forwards. I could see another inlet up ahead, but decided to turn around. I had mud up to my knees, and didn't want to risk crossing another inlet if no bridge was present.
It's likely that a local person would be able to give better direcions. But as this is a tidal area, I think better signage would be required for the route to be considered safe for the network.

25 Aug 2023Sorry that didn't work out Nick. Thanks for trying it out. I was hoping to use that to complete the Heart of Wales Trail using Slowways in a few weeks time. Will probably have to go via Llangennech and cut south to get to the coastal path part.
