Nice walk mainly following the Wales Coast Path. Easy to follow and well signposted....

We appreciated certain aspects of this walk, particularly the scenic coastal parts and the bridge crossing, which provided a few nice views. While the wetland areas were interesting, the contrast between the natural and industrial landscapes made it feel less relaxing than we had hoped. It’s more of a practical, functional route rather than a peaceful, nature-filled one....

While there are a few scenic coastal sections, of course with parts of the route thats felt industrial and noisy, which took away from the overall experience. The wetland areas and the bridge crossing offer some nice views, but they are limited. It’s not the most peaceful or rural walk if that’s what you’re looking for....

Takes you along the wetland route and over the bridge so theres some coastal parts which is nice but overall not the most enjoyable or rural....

Gorgeous off road route along the cycle path with far reaching views. Fairly flat and lots of places to stop off and enjoy the surroundings. Highly recommended!!...

But once you reach the Swiss Valley trail the remainder of the route is paved. This route leaves the cycle trail at Swiss Valley reservoir, following a series of quiet country roads....

Walk this routeFrom Pontarddulais, the route follows the main road until Hendy. The route takes you through Llangennech to avoid a 700m of the main road without a footpath. Rejoining the A4138 at Trosserch Road, it's a long and unpleasant walk for 3km into Dafen....

Following the cycle track east from Burry Port, the route is easy to follow....

The initial section of this route passes through a deprived area of Llanelli. The route re-joins the road at Bynea, and the rest of the route continues along the main road into Lougher....
