Description
This route from Oxford Street to Knightsbridge follows the outside of Hyde Park if events have fenced off parts of The Park that Knioxf 1 follows.
It also follows a tree-lined route that was much needed on the day I walked (when London hit 30+ deg C)

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

27 Aug 2022I walked this route from Knightsbridge to Oxford Circus. The stretch through Hyde Park is quite lovely, of course, and the stretch along Oxford Street is okay for walking (safe, accessible, flat, but CROWDED if you walk at the wrong time!). One navigation piece: you can't cross Cumberland Gate as drawn. So if you're heading north, just go straight to Speaker's Corner and cross straight to Marble Arch.

18 Jun 2022There are many ways to walk through Hyde Park to get to Knightsbridge.
My walking companion and I were unable to use Knioxf 1 because an event in Hyde Park had fenced a large part of the route off. And because a heatwave had hit over 30 degC, after Oxford Street we were grateful for the trees that lined the path.
If you need shade, this is the route to use.
