20 Jun 2023I walked from Knightsbridge to Oxford Street.
Very straight forward easily navigated route; although today (June 23) there was a big event in Hyde Park blocking the route (see pictures) but it was easy enough to walk around back onto the mapped path. This is temporary, but events in this park are not unusual.
Lots of interesting, historic buildings and building stone in the second half adding up to a pleasant walk.
Good for wheels, with the caveat that there is lots of street furniture and crowds of people at certain times.
A reminder that snacks and drinks are at London + tourist prices - bring your own.

18 Apr 2023If you have no reason to go down Oxford Street, this is absolutely the correct route to take! The walk through Hyde Park is gorgeous, direct, and perfectly plotted. All interactions with big roads are at safe and signalised crossings. The stretch along Brook Street is much more pleasant than Oxford Street, with gorgeous architecture, good pavements, and a few lovely squares. A great route I'd definitely recommend.

15 Oct 2022Great route between the two points, but of two halves. One is the lovely Hyde Park, and the other half the streets south of Oxford Circus, but a lot less busy (except for the short section on Regent's Street). I prefer this over Knioxf 1 & 2.
