Description
Follows the same route of Kinpre1 but avoids the wood and quarry which have access issues.
This is a gorgeous route taking you through meadows, woods, forest and over hills with huge views.
Lots of wild flowers and birds to be seen - a lot of rabbits at the top - with a few kites keeping an eye on them.
There is a great ford (footbridge as well !) with a lovely cottage behind.
There are plenty of stiles and a decent hill to get over - but if you want some peace and quiet you're unlikely to meet many people on this route.
If you only want to do one way there is a bus service between the two towns. Alternatively I am adding a an another route to return on

03 Jun 2022Beautiful route between these lovely border towns. Bit of everything with streams, woods, forest, wild flowers and birds of prey. Easy to follow trail with a very rewarding 360 view at the top.
