04 Nov 2023This is the way I would go if I wanted to walk from Iver to Uxbridge. No big access issues, avoids the path alongside the M25 which is nice but noisy, and a quagmire after rain. The canal path is what you'd expect (can get muddy, but it's not deep) and has been resurfaced along some of its length.

14 May 2023I walked this on a grey afternoon, from Iver to Uxbridge. Not much rain in the past week.
From Iver, the route follows the Beeches Way for a bit at first (photo #1). After a lovely section (photo #2), the route crosses the M25 into London. After a short stretch along Iver Lane, the route joins the London LOOP (photo #-#6) and goes along the lovely River Colne (photo #7-#8), with a fair amount of butterflies (photo #3), to finally end up at some residential streets in Uxbridge (photo #10). After crossing the Grand Union Canal (photo #11) once more, the route finished at the station (photo #12).

20 Dec 2022I don't have a lot to add to the other reviews, but I would like to reiterate - Strider's review mentions a 35cm gap, which I thought couldn't be true - but it is! Thoroughly pleasant, and not too muddy when I did it (December 2022).

20 May 2022This is the best of the routes between Iver and Uxbridge (and the direction I walked it) The other review describes this well. I would add that you can question whether you are allowed to follow the track out of Iver, due to the number of private property and cctv signs along the track, But you can. For most of the route you can easily forget you are on the edge of suburbs.

24 Apr 2022I walked from Uxbridge to Iver.
This route quickly takes you out of the town center through a park, to a riverside path behind a pub and houses. a short bit through an industrial park to a very narrow (35cm) barrier. Then along the Colne Valley Path, over a bridge with Coal Post. A short stretch of busy road, then along a farm track where you will see the bridge over the M25. Immediately right after the bridge leads to an Idyllic setting past some houses. You then leave the CV path and go along Beeches way into Iver and the Co-op node.
Mostly good paths in beautiful surroundings punctuated by short bits of road. A good walk.
