Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

This route takes in the best of North Norfolk - particularly the beaches, estuaries and pretty villages. Take some binoculars or a camera with a good lens as this is also a major area for a whole range of birdlife : swans, greylaggs, oystercatchers, egrets. kites, herons, dippers etc etc. The area is a massive vista of wetlands, dunes and beaches. The beaches are pristine and long. I did a side quest to Brancaster beach which added a few extra beautiful miles to this walk.
Easily the best Slowways I have walked yet. I split it over two days so I could relax and enjoy it. Its incredibly beautiful and peaceful. There are some great places to eat and drink all along the way.
