The route from Burnham Deepdale to Brancaster is along the coast and is beautiful to look at. Would walk it again but was put off by the boredom of the work between Burnham Overy and Burnham Deepdale along the marshes....

Neil Summersgill added Hunwel four, a new walk from Hunstanton to Wells-next-the-Sea
Walk this routeThis version of the route has a couple of unnecessary deviations off route to the villages of Stiffkey and Weybourne, which adds almost 2 miles to the total route). There's ~5 miles (if I remember the waymarked sign correctly!) of walking along a shingle ridge between Cley and Weybourne which definitely took its toll on my knees, and might not be great for pram pushers or wheelchair users....

We are relatively fit walkers but were very glad we decided to split the route in two, as especially tackling that stony beach stretch towards the end of the second day would be challenging especially if it had come after about 15 miles of walking - so probably only the keenest walkers would attempt the full almost 20 miles in one day....

Such as having to cross a busy A road, and walking along roads which had lots of traffic, making it hard to move out of their way. *All road until you reach Wells, although b roads are surprisingly busy and not easy to move out of the way of oncoming traffic...
