20 Feb 2022As with many routes moving through rural Wirral, the terrain and multitude of gates and stiles exclude wheeled users. But as a footpath, it's a good one!
Through the always pleasant Arrowe Park; lots of fields; the odd wood and even an old RAF base, this starts and ends at areas good for transport, with shops at the Hoylake end, and a pub at Woodchurch.

07 May 2021We walked this route, from East to West (Woodchurch to Hoylake) on 6th May 2021 after a few showery days. Most of the route is scenic and the terrain passable on well-defined paths. There are some tricky sections which will be very muddy in wet weather however. Part of the route crosses an unmarked field which often contains horses running free. About a third of the route is road walking. There are several narrow bridges, stiles and gates. Overall, a pleasant route which ends either at the Arrowe Park pub or at Hoylake railway station.
