Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

29 May 2024The route wasn’t bad, it was VERY muddy, going uphill almost the entire time, and we had to walk through lots of farming fields. Apparently I managed to get a thorn in first 2 hours of walk and didn’t notice until I got infection
I recommend it if you have no more than 3-4 people in the group and you don’t mind getting dirty, tired and splinters in your heel, also bring food, drink and forget about the rest because the route doesn’t have any resting places. Personally I’d not recommend to walk there because its incredibly easy to get a thorn in the feet or just hurt yourself walking on these fields. It’s not that bad if that’s not your first long trip.
