Description
Frilig two is near-identical to Frilig one with the difference being a section between 1st and 2nd km from Lightwater where the route leading close to the military shooting range ends in the middle of the heath and there is nothing but boggy area behind it. This new route bypassed the heath and uses a wide unpaved track a bit further from the fence with a barbed wire

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

03 Sep 2023This route mostly leads along a military shooting range where there is a fence with a barbed wire on one side. The approach to Frimley is through a wooded area with many crisscrossing footpaths so it doesn't matter too much if walkers don't hit the right one. It is easy to follow, safe and I would recommend it to others. There are even good views of Surrey from a high point on the route.
