Description
To avoid crossing the A25 in Westcott and make the route a little shorter, I suggest turning east and going through Milton Court

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

15 Jun 2023 (edited 17 Jun 2023)A great walk through the Surrey countryside. Some of the paths are part of the Lovelace Bridge Trail (two bridges are on the route, photos 4 and 6). Further details and map at https://www.hcps.online/horsley/lovelace-bridges-trail.The path down the scarp of the north downs is quite rough and steep and some of the other paths are narrow and overgrown (long trousers recommended!). Railway level crossing but very good sight lines. Shops and cafés at Horsley and Dorking. Toilets at Horsley Station and in Dorking below Marks and Spencer's. I started from Horsley Station (which needed an additional mile walk) and finished at Dorking Station (just under a mile extra).
