Description
Chesterfield to Dronfield would be an easy route following the River Drone but this valley was naturally claimed by road and railway which resulted in industrial development. Slow Ways could pick a way through but it would not be pretty, interesting or pleasant. This route as with Droches-3 offers a rural path with some good views. A short stretch of road walking has a wide pavement and there is a shop of New Whittington. The canal section, enjoyed by most, is extended
