25 Aug 2022The walk from Porthmadog to Criccieth forms part of the Wales Coastal Path and is an attractive walk with 2 beach sections. As indicated by the previous reviewer the Slow Ways route has a section at the end of Black Rock Sands which diverges from the proper path where (depending on the state of the tide) it may be possible to clamber over cliffs. This is dangerous to those unfamiliar with the area. Also this area of beach prohibits dogs. Walkers should follow coastal path signs.

25 Jul 2022Really great walk, the coastal path between Morfa Bychan and Porthmadog is great with some superb coves and beaches.
The route is 90% accurate. The only section which isn't quite right is from Criccieth to Black Rock. You need to walk away from the beach and loop back rather than the direct map route as that takes you off a cliff!.
