Setting off from Beaminster there is a signposted diversion around Chantry farm due to waterlogged ground and farm animals. Once at North Buckham farm the route gets very rocky and not easy to walk. The path is very muddy and it doesnt dry out even in summer, I found the section between North Buckham farm and Mosterton only suitable if you wear wellingtons.
I found that the path into Bakers Mill farm as unpassable as there was lots of manure and water. There is an easier path into Mosterton from North Buckham farm by walking via Cheddington Lane and not turning via Bakers Mill farm.
