I walked from Peckham to Brixton.
This is a lovely walk. I'm not sure I can add more than the reviewers have already said.
Lots of green space and great views from Ruskin Park. Only a few busy roads.
Some surprises, artworks all along the route but especially alongside the railway by Denmark Hill Station. Stables and horse riding, Markets and brewery.
A great way to get from one vibrant town centre to another.
Wheel friendly, but with hills.

This is a great route from Peckham Rye Station to Brixton station - I would definitely do this route more often to travel between the two locations! The footpath is slightly narrow around Peckham Rye so it's not as easy for anyone with prams or wheelchairs, but the surrounding streets won't be much different, so this is still the best, most direct way to travel to Camberwell. From Denmark Hill station, it's a lovely walk through Ruskin Park and, should you wish to, you can choose different paths to get to the end of this park as indicated here. If you can't use the stairs in the park, you can continue straight on until you've reached the area with the bandstand, turn left through the gates towards the bandstand, and then turn right at the gate onto the mapped route. From there, this route is the nicest way through pedestrian corridors to Brixton. It might feel less safe when it's dark, however, so if you're uncomfortable, you can use Herne Hill Road instead of Poplar Walk Passage, and then Coldharbour Lane instead of Brixton Station Road.

I walked this route from Peckham to Brixton and really enjoyed it. It does a great job park-hopping while staying fairly direct. I loved especially the stretch through Ruskin Park, with great views of London. The route just kept on giving, and it was quite fun to walk.

Nice way to get from Peckham to Brixton mostly avoiding main roads. Takes in Ruskin Park which has some great views of the city. Area around Camberwell Grove has some lovely houses to look at. Some places to eat and drink around Loughborough Junction, and you pass two train stations if walking turns out not to be an option anymore.

This route makes the most of the green spaces between the two locations, some only small but all pleasant to walk through. I would suggest continuing down Windsor Walk at Denmark Hill station rather than going up on to the main road.
