Description

This is a functional replacement for Brelon_1 that is saved by the walk through West Park in Long Eaton for half of the route. The other half is a safe but boring walk along the A6005.
Photo 1: I walked the Brelon 1 route heading from East to West. This shows the start/end point for all Long Eaton Routes. Pass the two roundabout, cross the road and head west for Breaston.
Photo 2: Walking over the canal bridge, continue until Long Grove and turn left.
Photo 3: You will come to Long Eaton Cemetery. Walk through the cemetery and you will see West Park ahead.
Photo 4: The gate that takes you from the cemetery to West Park.
Photo 5: There are two steps down to the park path. The width of the gate is 80 centimetres.

Photo 7: Park path junction - turn right here over a small bridge (Golden Brook).
Photo 8: Path opens onto residential street. Turn left.
