Walked from Bircotes to Rossington. Mostly OK, but my attempt to find a more interesting route between the Harworth meeting point and Bircotes fell foul of house building work across the path north of Hill Road, which is currently closed and fenced off, and since this supposed green space was the main point of the detour, it is unlikely to be worth reviving when the building work is complete. I will submit an alternative version and review that in more detail. The photograph below shows the blocked path.
