03 Jun 2021This walk was reviewed on 03 June 2021 in the direction Beddau to Pontypridd. The walk was reviewed only as far as Berthlwyd Bungalow since the remainder of the route north had already been reviewed as part of the Church Village to Pontypridd route, comments may be found for ChuPon one.
A very pretty route, the southern half is entirely satisfactory and easy to follow. I would like to see the northern half altered as it passes through two very marshy sections. I will try to walk an alternative that links to the very good southern part - please come back to look for my suggestion soon.

06 Jun 2021I have walked and recorded an alternative and uploaded it as a GPX file. As you can see there is only a small difference. If you follow the recorded route closely between Berthllwyd and Fforest Uchaf farms then your walk will be much easier
