Route description
This route uses Low Traffic Neighbourhoods in residential areas plus paths alongside and through local cemeteries/Wanstead flats, with the exception of the need to use the A118 route to cross the River Roding for a few minutes at the Ilford end. It follows the route of the Stratford to Ilford railway, so Forest Gate and Manor Park Stations are on route. Manor Park Cemetery and Crematorium opening times can be found here https://www.mpark.co.uk/ . If it is closed an easy green diversion round its northern edge is via Whitta Road, Capel Road and Ridley Road, which adds about 1/4 mile to the route.
