Route description
An exceptionally enjoyable route along the river, canal, and through parks, and really shows off London's green side. This route is a new version of Riceal One which delivers improvements to weaknesses pointed out in reviews. Although Riceal One has earned its snail, this is an improved version, and is intended to be a replacement. - It corrects routing inaccuracy at Boston Manor - makes clear where the safe road crossing is at Pitzhanger. - includes the new riverside path at Isleworth, so less road walking! - a small detour at Richmond Lock to allow for high tides, if it isn't high water then by all means walk straight through on the riverside path. Accessibility - There are steps to the bridge over the canal at Boston Manor, and to the bridge over the Thames at Richmond Lock. This isn't a 24 hour route as Lammas Park closes at night
