Calmar Survey

3XMay 2021 by Eliot

Route description

I walked Calmar today and found some accessibility issues. My route is mostly the same the only difference are: 1. In Calne there have been new housing estates build since the last time the OS Maps were updates. There is now no way through. My route by passes these by taking the National Cycle Route starting from Low Lane. 2. Hill's Waste Site has blocked the path so my route carries on the National Cycle Route rejoining the existing route a few hundred meters later. 3. Minor diversion at Compton Basset avoiding a style and taking a more accessible parallel dirt road up the hill. From Compton Basset to Marlborough there are no changes required.
