It is also very boring - over a kilometre of perfectly straight man-made path, down the middle of a dual carriageway, with little change in scenery. After the Tay Bridge you have to walk along the road for a while unfortunately, but it is a reasonable pleasant and accessible route. The approach to Tayport and Tayport itself are the highlights of the journey....

The bridge is a little tedious, though you may enjoy counting the lamp posts! And the views of Dundee are interesting....

A good one way route with stunning views and snack and toilet facilities at the Tay Road bridge (check for Covid restrictions) and in Tayport....
