As already noted, this is a superb cycle path with easy access for all and superb views along the Camel Trail. The only things to watch out for are the number of bicycles passing you (especially on a sunny day during school half term!). There is a wonderful cafe kiosk at the half way point but it closes about 4pm (I was lucky to be their last customer, for an ice cream!)....

There are road sections but at the time of year I walked it (early December) there was very little traffic. There is a good pub at St Merryn....

Although I covered all of the distance from Padstow to Newquay, I followed the coast path, so I didn't walk the first half of the Slow Way, which cuts across country from Padstow to Bedruthan Steps....

The route is part of the Camel Trail, an excellent route for walking, running, cycling, wheelchairs, mobility scooters & buggies. Atlantic Coast Express kiosk on route, selling Hot & Cold drinks, Cream Teas, Ice-cream etc....

its flat and great views of the Camel estuary, Very easy going great for an early morning walk or evening. There are refreshments half way along the trail...
