Large parts of this route are paved, and where it joins the TPT it is mostly suitable for wheels, but the route as a whole is not accessible for wheels other than bikes. The route is quick, what with being mostly paved, and is already a well-used and well-known local route to and fro. The scenery is quite nice as well, being completely wooded, once you get past the houses and field, excepting the bridge over the river Dearne....

The middle section goes directly through an industrial estate with heavy goods vehicles coming through. After this when joining Shaw Lane you have to walk on a busy fast road with with blind corners and no pavement making it very unsafe....
