Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

11 Sep 2023A shame. The first stage is surprisingly good. Its a big climb out of Glynneath and the entry to the initial path after leaving the residential streets is easy to miss. But after that, despite warning signs about the use of motorbikes, a fairly pleasant hill climb on good paths. Although may well be less pleasant on a wetter, muddier day
The problems really begin on the descent toward Seven Sisters where the path as marked on OS maps becomes theoretical. this isn't a huge problem as there are other paths heading in roughly the same direction so with some initiative the route works with a few tweaks.
However, in Seven Sisters there are access issues that stop the route becoming useable at that point. A local would likely know a way to proceed but the easiest answer here is to create a completely new route bypassing much of the hill climbing and Seven Sisters.
