Description
Starts in main street of Wilberfoss before turning left into A1079 where you follow the pavement for 1500m. There is a 200m stretch of verge to follow (pavement has ended) before turning left into Sand Lane. The lane is narrow but relatively open and has a verge. At a crossroads you turn right into Newbridge Lane which then takes you back to A1079 where there is a pavement again (you encounter your first shop - there is a petrol station here). After 800m more of pavement next to the A1079 you turn left into the B1246 which takes you into the village of Barmby Moor where there is a post office and a pub. You continue along the pavement of the Barmby Road until you reach Pocklington. Shop at 5km. Post Office and Pub at 6km. Mainly pavement and some lane walking

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.
