Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

05 Aug 2024We turned around at Trevaugh Farm since there was a dog barking and was scared we would go into private land. We had done a route previously like this and had dogs chasing us so we turned around and did most of the route by Google Maps. This took us down some of the country roads, but mostly down the A40 but there was a walking route there along it so it was fine. We would have liked to do the whole route but was not feeling too safe to continue after the path looked like it led to someones property. Of course the route through Google Maps was not as picturesque or natural but it did mean we felt a bit safer rather than being completely off the beaten track. Shame we could not complete it as it looks like it goes through some beautiful landscapes.
