18 Nov 2023I walked from London Bridge to Waterloo.
This is the walk I recommend to visitors, but ending at London Bridge having brought food in Borough market. This is a slow way, worth meandering and exploring around the route. So much to see, so much to visit and be entertained by. Borough Market, Golden Hind, superb views, The Globe, The Tate, Shops, National Theatre, book stalls, and buskers etc.. Can be crowded and at night there are darkish areas, but in amongst many happy people I felt safe. Steps at either end, cobbles and crowds. Not good for wheels. Could not find flat or sloped access (as it was dark) but I'm sure a route can be found.
One of the best London walks.

02 Sep 2022The creator of this route is right in that it is more accurate than the original version for getting into and out of the stations. They also mention some steps which can be avoided at the London Bridge end by going through Borough Market (also more interesting!).
Overall a great route along the south bank with nice views and plenty to see.

06 May 2022This route is fantastic. It's lovely, direct, simple, and easy to follow. There are sets of stairs on both ends to note. You really can't beat the South Bank!.
