I walked Verrin Two in reverse, from Ringwood to Verwood.

Overall, I did find this a good route to follow. It's shorter than many Slow Ways in the area, having completed it in a little over two hours. It has a satisfying mix of scenery and varied paths, and includes several points of interest.

I particularly enjoyed crossing the old canal leaving Ringwood, and learning about the WWII decoy airfield just outside of Verwood. Also, on the small lake fed by the Crane River, I fortunate to spot what appeared to be a Great White Egret patrolling the reeds.

The main access point to consider is when joining Ringwood Forest as it's a bit of a scramble up a narrow, steep, uneven and winding sandy path for around 100m, and could be problematic for wheels users/prams.

It's a shame there isn't a pavement to reach the Watchmoor Car Park around 1km up the B3081/Verwood Road - this is what Verrin One follows - as that might allow much leveler access. In lieu of this, there are two tracked entrances around 1km further along Castleman Trailway which might be more forgiving, the first of which it appears a reviewer on Verrin One did use in the end.

The route exists the forest along a pine-needled footpath which was a little narrow in places, but this can be avoided by staying on the forest track and following it around instead.

It also includes a couple sections both at the beginning and end over dense driveway-style gravel which could cause traction issues for wheels users/prams.
