Easy to navigate, but construction works on the edge of Towcester (illustrated) necessitated a minor detour along the Wood Burcote Road; to avoid the housing estates, I left Towcester following the surfaced paths alongside the River Tove from Waitrose, and joined the Grafton Way at a more northerly point. Plenty of stiles once in Buckinghamshire, some of which are incomplete (but not impassable), public toilets in each town, and minimal road walking; no major roads to cross.
