This is a direct straightforward route between Tolworth and Motspur Park.
This avoids the problems highlighted on Tolmot One and is 1km shorter.
It is mostly roadside walking but through surprisingly green suburbs.

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

26 Apr 2024Straightforward route with some green spaces. Pedestrian crossing at South Lane/Malden Road junction. Coop food store at Malden Manor.

18 Apr 2024Good urban route, through pleasant residential streets.
Started at Tolworth - many big A roads here but route gets away from them pronto.
There’s a short green section where it passes Hogsmill river, then Malden Manor station, with refreshments and a supermarket.
Finishes up past Fulham football training ground (fans hanging around at the gates), and across a level crossing to Motspur Park station.
Step free, direct, zero problems.
(Access to Motspur Park station currently not step free but will be when ongoing work to put in lift completes.).

01 Apr 2024I walked from Motspur Park to Tolworth.
Warning. "Due to construction works for the Motspur Park station Access For All Scheme, the Ticket Office will be closed from Friday 19th May until Spring 2024".
And there is no access into the station from the East side which is where the Slow Ways node is. See picture.
Also the Tolworth roundabout pedestrian underpass is also being improved (Nature themed murals and birds on fences) and may be subject to closures for resurfacing and landscaping.
Both projects are near to completion (31/3/24).
After crossing the railway there is a short section of busy road before turning right into quieter suburban streets with wide pavements. Many pavements run offset from the quiet roads with lawn and trees in between, small parklet greens are also present making the walk quite pleasant. The River Hogsmill crossing provides an opportunity to divert on a nature trail. After crossing the river more suburban streets lead to the Tolworth roundabout which will be quite nice when complete.
A short sweet route between these two towns.
All surfaces are paved, no hills (unless you count the underpass slopes) very suitable for wheelchairs etc.
