Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

10 Jul 2023I walked this as part of my personal challenge to complete the South West Coast Path. Most of the route is on the well-signposted and well trodden coast path, and also the other rights of way at either end of the route are easy to navigate and accurate. Both Boscastle and Tintagel have lots of ammenities including places to stay, eat, drink and also a handy bus link - one of which runs from Newquay to Bude, passing through both places.
The coastline in this area is beautiful, and the path is quite tough walking. There are sections of steep steps and gravelly slopes. Given that it's direct and easy to follow this should definitely be added to the verified network.
