Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

22 Nov 2022I tried to walk this route with David and agree with his review.
If a team cleared the vegetation from under the railway bridge at Pool Meadow, it may become a good and walkable route. If this happens, do let me know by commenting on this review and I'll change my review!
It's a Maybe for me.

17 Nov 2022A fairly early critical failure. We started from the Gloucester end of the route. We found it impossible to follow from SO 8234 1912. We were faced by what appeared to be a funfair in storage. Vehicles, containers and rides. The footpath to the river was a scramble to get to, and then the actual footpath by the river was overgrown and impassable. We completed a new version of the route which will be submitted as Staglo Two.
