Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

19 Sep 2023This was a very challenging, but rewarding walk, definitely not for the fainthearted! The first portion of the walk was good, some parts of the path seemed a bit overgrown but it's to be expected at this time of the year. There was quite a large portion of the walk where you are expected to walk close to or even on the road, which didn't feel particularly safe and I felt on edge having to look behind me a lot of the time. The public footpaths were in great condition for the most part, there wasn't a point where I felt the need to divert (apart from a field swarming with too many sheep!).

31 Jul 2022Seamed to be a lot of road walking with no footpath, the roads weren't busy. Other than that straight forward.
