Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

05 Mar 2023This route is blocked by quarry works, as you can see on the map above.
The detour is not obvious, especially if you are coming from Biggleswade. The red sign pictured was flat on the ground and there are no alternative sign posts.
It is a little easier from the South but still not obvious, there is a signpost.
It is clear that people walk over the fence along a well used path around the quarry edge, but as this is likely to be trespassing it can't be recommended.
I will upload this walk with the detour and review as it is a good walk otherwise.

10 Aug 2022There is a section of road without a pavement for nearly a mile. Other sections are not suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Dogs should be fine on the route as long as care is taken on the road.
The footpaths are subject to diversions because of the quarrying work around Broom. These appear to be signposted.
There are no stiles, gates or steps.
