02 Dec 2023Safe, direct and bucolic. I started from Rugeley on a freezing foggy day. I know from having walked sections of this route in other contexts this is the best one for views. Pretty easy to follow but not a massive amount of variety. Some steps and stiles. Pubs and cafes at either end but only one en route, and it doesn't open until 2pm.
