15 Aug 2022This route is not possible because there is no public right of way between Barelands Farm (TQ608252) and Higham (TQ6109355). To make matters worse there is a large swathe of private land to the East of Frant which makes transit without going onto roads impossible.

23 Jan 2022Used this route to go from Wadhurst to Tunbridge Wells.
We couldn't find a way to cross the railway track between Brookland Wood and Grigg's Wood. Had to turn back and walk along Bayham Road (50 mph with no footpath) to Bells Yew Green.
Some of the footpaths suggested in this route are not on other maps or are marked as private.

23 Mar 2023There's a new uploaded (and tested) route for RoyWad which uses the Sussex Border Path, and a bit of another waymarked route. Hopefully it will be more satisfactory than the one you tried out.
