Description
This is a good dry-weather route for walking between Ringwood and Brockenhurst. Expect to get wet feet if it's been raining, but it's worth it!
It is based on Rinbro Three, but is necessarily accurately drawn

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

13 Nov 2023This is a great route for walking between Ringwood and Brockenhurst.
I'd 100% walk it again!
We walked it from Ringwood at the end of the day, completing the route in the dark between Burley and Brockenhurst. We loved walking the route at night, with our head torches lighting up the eyes of animals in the forest. The stars were so bright we could follow most tracks without needing to turn our torches on.
There's a fair amount of walking on lanes, but we felt safe the whole time. I'm sure someone could design another route that is longer and includes less lane walking, but it would be much further.
It had been raining a lot when we walked it. The path was very wet under the A35 and the ground to the east of the road was sodden for 500+ metres. Doable for walkers who don't mind their shoes getting wet, but people who want to keep their shoes white and dry would not have succeeded!.
