Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

13 Aug 2025The flattest of the 3 routes to the south of the Penryn river. Also the best views of the three over the estuary. A safe route easy to follow,.

08 Jul 2025July 2025. Direction: Falmouth to Penryn.
A very good slow way, easier than the similar Penfal2, as it avoids the steep Beacon Street / Old Hill section and it has great views over the harbour and the Penryn / Fal estuary. I liked the elevated, wide pavements along North Parade and some other streets on this side of Falmouth (Photo 3). This route could also be wheeled.
