Description
This is essentially the same route as MARLOU one, but replotted in a way that makes it easier for the user to find the best lines around the major road junctions, rather than simply showing straight lines along the roads and across roundabouts. In particular it uses pelican crossings to cross the busy A50 south of the Field Head roundabout on the edge of Markfield rather than using the north side where there is no pavement or safe crossing. I have also changed the line out of Loughborough station to use a step-free and more direct route, and shown the waymarked and trodden lines in preference to the definitive lines in a couple of fields.
NB After submitting this route, I spotted that there is a minor error in the GPX line south of Ulverscroft Lane, where the path and right of way lines now go slightly further west. I should have checked the 1:25000 view rather than trusting the OS default map while plotting
