08 Oct 2023This route is similar to MADNEW2 , but veers through Silverdale. I preferred MADNEW2, as it encorporated more nature after Keele campus. The accessibility issues from Madeley to Keele are the same as MADNEW2, so it is not really so accessible to wheelchairs etc. However, this route's advantage is that its easy from Keele to walk into Newcastle in the winter, mostly along the roads so you aren't caught in mud around your shoes. Nice walk.
