Description
This route is a slight (but in my view important) modification to Losfow one - correcting the section through Golant and Golant Down. This version removes the inaccurate track which, if followed precisely, goes through someone's garden (which is sometimes ok, but on this occasion it is not a right of way). Moreover, this version follows the well-used and obvious Saints Way, rather than the more obscure footpath at the top of Golant Down, which does not seem to actually exist on the ground and would certainly be very hard to follow if coming from Fowey.
Other than that, the route is exactly the same as Losfow one

Panifex
09 Aug 2022I walked this route while attempting to walk losfow one, walking from Lostwithiel to Fowey - and finding the original impossible to navigate through Golant. It is a fantastic walk, relatively direct and along well-used footpaths and quiet lanes. The surroundings are very beautiful.
Definitely (with the correction) a recommended slow-way.
