Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

31 Mar 2024A straightforward, if a little dull, route that is all on pavement alongside the main road between Kinross and Milnathort. Accurately mapped with no problems along the way. A good café at either end and a microbrewery and pub en route. The road can be busy at times. Route suitable for wheelers. The route can be combined with a more scenic route that is longer and takes in part of the Loch Leven Trail making a nice circular walk.
3 stars given as all on tarmac and alongside a relatively busy road.

29 Mar 2024A pretty urban and unremarkable walk - Kinross kind of blends into Milnathort - but it is very straightforward and a good link.

11 Mar 2024We kicked off this bit of the walk with an excellent hot chocolate at Unorthodox Roasters in Kinross - would recommend! You don't really notice the distinction between Kinross and Milnathort, with the two towns more or less merging into one. It's a very walkable, relatively quiet road between the town and village (or is this also a town?), with a bit of a meandering back path in-between. Not overly exciting but a reliable link up!.
