Description
This route broadly follows KinAuc1, but does not go into Gateside as there are no facilities there (the pub is closed, and there are no cafes or shops), however it does divert towards Gateside in order to use the lovely path, part former railway, to come up to the Dryside Road opposite the Glenburn path up Glen Vale. Also this route passes the shop in Strathmiglo, and takes a more direct route towards Auchtermuchty. However the eastern end of this route is not particularly pleasant as it uses a narrow footway beside the busy A91. Walkers may prefer to use Aucmil2 via Dunshalt for a more off road experience

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
