07 Nov 2021A quiet single track road takes you most of the way from Kilsyth to Stirling. A fairly quiet road in relatively good condition. Initially there is a footpath to walk walk alongside the road before the main path becomes the road. A footpath reappears on the outskirts of Stirling. About a third of the way through the walk there is a small ford on the road to cross.

24 Jun 2021This is a quiet single track road. Three hundred years ago it was part of the main route between Glasgow and Stirling. Today it is a popular route for cyclists but has little other traffic. It climbs to a summit at 322m and has good distant views.
