Description
I've tweaked Kenpec one in a few places. I addressed the fact that Kenpec one told you to go through a locked gate near Kennington, as well as a few tweaks to make the route more direct and simple to follow in the middle. Nothing major, and overall a great route

17 Jun 2023I walked from Peckham to Kennington (The Oval tube).
Another urban gem, a string of interesting historic streets with green jewels of parks strung onto it.
Surprisingly green and never loses your interest.
Pavements and tarmac paths all the way, and apart from the usual street furniture obstacles, good for wheels.

28 Oct 2022This is a great urban park route from the Oval tube station. There are plenty of cafés and beautiful green spaces on the way. From Kennington Park through Burgess Park, down Brunswick Park and then along Lucas Gardens. It also heads through Warwick Gardens and Holly Grove Shrubbery ending up on Rye Lane. It also takes in Camberwell nuclear bunker too.

03 Apr 2022I really enjoyed this walk! Starting at Kennington, I was led through many green spaces of various sizes, some of which I had no idea existed until now. It's an interesting, mainly flat route through quiet back streets and parks. The only real hill is towards the end on Vestry Road but isn't too steep or long. Highly recommended!.

08 Feb 2022I really enjoyed this route!! There's a lot about it to commend. It essentially park-hops, alternating between parks and quiet residential streets, but it largely stays direct on the way between Kennington and Peckham. And there's so many parks! I definitely highly recommend this route.
