24 Feb 2025I haven't walked this route but might when I go to South Devon this year. I think the first reviewer was too kind because they had such a great day despite the problem. But they missed 2km of this route and walked 1.6km further than they expected to, even more if they had to double back. This will put the warning on the front page, not everyone reads the reviews.
I've uploaded the route I think they walked and copied their review there and I'm copying their 4 star rating here.

09 Oct 2021Lovely walk. We did alter the route near South Brent to go through Lady’s Wood and pick up Dartmoor Way as the road past Glazebrook is quite busy. Lots of great scenery. We did have a problem with a lane full of ankle deep slurry near Dean Prior but all In all loved this walk.

05 Feb 2025Hi Tania. Did you go east on the Dartmoor Way from Lady Wood? And did you find another way around the slurry filled lane? I'm going to load a new route using your suggestion but might use more of the D Way to reduce road walking. Or possibly to match the actual route you took, with detours.
